Ukrainian “Red Viburnum” at ART in the Park in Milton Keynes
During Refugee Week, the Ukrainian community of Milton Keynes came together for a heartfelt march filled with music, unity and national pride. The powerful words of “Червона калина” (Ukrainian song “Red Viburnum”) echoed through the city as families, children and volunteers walked side by side, carrying symbols of hope and resilience.
We extend our warmest gratitude to everyone who joined the march and showed their support for Ukraine through their presence and solidarity.
This event was held in partnership with MKIAC as part of the ART in the Park project, with the creative initiative of the Sunflower Ukrainian Saturday School‑Club, the artistic support of designer Alice, and the continued assistance of Ukraine Appeal Charity.
Together, we continue to raise our “red viburnum” — lifting Ukraine, uplifting our community, and keeping our culture alive in Milton Keynes.
