We believe that everyone deserves access to basic necessities such as food, shelter, healthcare, and education, regardless of their circumstances. We work tirelessly to provide assistance to individuals and families affected by poverty, conflict, and natural disasters, both locally and globally.

What we do
At our core, we value compassion, empathy, and a deep commitment to social justice. We strive to be a voice for the voiceless, shining a light on issues that are often overlooked or ignored. We believe in the power of collective action, and we work collaboratively with partner organizations, volunteers, and community members to create positive change.
The objects of
the CIO are:
Provision of practical assistance and relief to people in need in Ukraine and those who see Ukraine as their home in any part of the world who are victims of war or conflict.
Supply of aid as deemed necessary by the Trustees in the given circumstances.
Provision of shelter to those who have been displaced or rendered homeless by war or conflict.
Supply of clean water to affected populations, including those living in areas with limited access to safe drinking water.
Provision of food aid to combat malnutrition and hunger among affected populations.
Supply of clothing, baby items, sanitary and hygiene items to support the basic needs of those affected by war or conflict.
Provision of medical and surgical items to address the health needs of affected populations.
Ensuring the equitable distribution of aid to those most in need, without discrimination on the basis of ethnicity, religion, gender, or other factors.
Collaboration with local partners and communities to ensure effective and efficient delivery of aid.
Monitoring and evaluation of relief efforts to measure their impact and identify areas for improvement.

Donations can be made in a variety of ways, including online via our donation page which has links to payal and our chartiy bank. If you cannot donate via these then please dont hesitate to contact us.

Unfortunately, Ukraine Appeal is not able to accept donations of clothes or blankets. However, we appreciate your support and encourage you to donate to other charities, such as British-Ukrainian Aid, which accepts blankets, or to local charity shops that can take these items. Ukraine Appeal focuses on sourcing and sending necessary items to countries in need in the quickest, most efficient, and cost-effective way.

Charities must follow the Charities Act, which is designed to protect the people the money is intended to help. According to the Act, money given freely and without condition cannot be refunded except in exceptional circumstances. In such cases, our Trustees would have to make a decision following guidance from the Charity Commission.

There are numerous innovative ways you can participate in supporting the Ukraine Appeal. Some of these ways include:
Organizing a gameathon or live streaming while gaming.
Arranging a cake sale.
Conducting sponsored challenges such as a sponsored walk, sponsored silence, or creating your own challenge.
Packing bags at supermarkets in exchange for donations.
Creating a Facebook fundraiser to gather money from your social network.
Offering your skills in return for donations by holding an online or in-person tutorial. You can share your cooking, language, or music skills and raise money simultaneously.
Additionally, there are plenty of ideas for virtual events, including quizzes and book clubs.
