“The Taste of Ukrainian Tradition” by Iryna Kirianenko from Sweet Dreams invites visitors to experience the warmth of Ukrainian hospitality through food, storytelling and shared culinary traditions. This interactive cultural workshop explores the heritage of homemade Ukrainian cuisine and the important role food plays in family life, celebration and memory.

Participants will take part in a practical varenyky-making workshop, learning traditional techniques used to prepare one of Ukraine’s best-loved dishes. They will discover the history behind varenyky (Eng:dumplings), explore different fillings and methods, and gain insight into recipes passed through generations within Ukrainian families.

Alongside the workshop, visitors will be welcomed to a buffet-style presentation of handcrafted desserts prepared by Sweet Dreams online pastry shop. The tasting table will feature traditional Ukrainian favourites such as Medovyk (honey cake) and Napoleon cake, together with elegant contemporary desserts including macarons, mousse cakes and meringue rolls. The collection reflects both Ukrainian baking heritage and modern European confectionery influences.

The event celebrates the creativity, care and cultural identity expressed through everyday cooking and baking traditions.

Visitors are invited to taste, create, learn and share in a welcoming atmosphere inspired by Ukrainian family traditions and contemporary culinary artistry.
