Ukrainian Saturday School “Sunflower” Receives Official Status from the Ministry of Education of Ukraine

The Ukrainian Saturday School “Sunflower” in Milton Keynes has been officially recognised as an overseas educational centre by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Simplified Pathway to Ukrainian higher education

Pupils studying Ukrainian subjects at the Saturday School “Sunflower” — Ukrainian language, literature, and history — will now have their results assessed according to the Ukrainian national grading scale. These results will be formally recognised by schools in Ukraine.

This recognition enables students to obtain a Ukrainian Certificate of General Secondary Education, which is required for continuing education or applying to Ukrainian universities.

Thanks to this new status, students no longer need to study all subjects (such as mathematics or natural sciences) through an online Ukrainian school or retake exams upon returning to Ukraine. The subjects completed at “Sunflower” Saturday club will be credited directly, eliminating the need for repeated assessments.
