Care Packs Available for Ukrainian Families in Need
Ukraine Appeal is pleased to announce the distribution of Care Packs, which include hygiene and essential care items, generously donated by CarePacks (Charity No. 1209874). Each box weighs approximately 2kg and contains essential items for adults, babies and young children.
We are grateful for this support and now invite eligible families and individuals in our community to receive the aid.
Eligibility Criteria
To ensure that the Care Packs reach families most in need, applicants must meet at least one Poverty Criterion and at least one Vulnerability Criterion.
Poverty Criteria
Applicants must meet one or more of the following:
Low-income households (at or below 60% of UK median income).
Reliance on state benefits (e.g., Universal Credit, Income Support).
Unemployment or involuntary part-time work.
Food insecurity or current use of food banks.
Severe debt or financial crisis (rent arrears, utility arrears).
Homelessness or risk of homelessness.
Vulnerability Criteria
Applicants must also meet one or more of the following:
Single-parent families.
Individuals with disabilities, chronic illness, or significant health issues.
Elderly individuals on low fixed incomes.
Care leavers or young adults (16–25) facing hardship.
Refugees, asylum seekers, or recently settled immigrants.
Victims of domestic abuse or violence.
Families with children receiving Free School Meals.
People referred by trusted partners (schools, social workers, health professionals).

If you believe you meet the eligibility criteria, you can now submit an application through our online form.
After your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you with details on where and when you can collect your Care Pack.
Important Information for Applicants
Care Packs are donated as charitable goods and must be used only for the benefit of eligible families.
Packs cannot be sold, traded, or used for personal benefit by staff, volunteers, or associates.
If you are unable to use the pack after receiving it, you must notify us so it can be redirected to another eligible family.
