Computers for school in Ukraine
Another project completed, woven together by the invisible threads of kindness 🩵💛
Thanks to the generosity of Computers 4 Good, Professor Michael Mainelli, Z/Yen Group Limited, Tech 4 Reuse partners, and the incredible support of our community — including Valerie Pavliuk, Ukraine Appeal Charity, Sunflower Ukrainian School, and everyone who helped prepare and ship the computers — vital technology is now on its way to a school in Ukraine.
Ukraine Appeal Charity was founded in Milton Keynes following Russia’s full‑scale invasion of Ukraine, with a clear mission: to stand beside those whose lives were shattered overnight.
From supporting displaced families through community events and wellbeing programmes, to running the Sunflower Ukrainian Supplementary School and delivering life‑saving humanitarian aid, every act of generosity helps write a new chapter of hope.
Thanks to this latest donation, refurbished computers will soon reach Lyceum No. 2 School in the Pokrovsk City Council, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast — giving pupils and teachers the tools they need to keep education alive during unimaginable circumstances.
Even more inspiring: this is only the beginning. Following the success of this collaboration, Professor Mainelli and the Tech 4 Reuse partners have committed to continuing the initiative, with 40 additional refurbished laptops planned for future delivery through Ukraine Appeal.
