A Journey Completed: Computers Now Supporting Students in Ukraine

We are delighted to share that the computers generously donated through the support of Computers 4 Good have now arrived safely in Ukraine and are already being used by students and teachers at Lyceum No. 2 in Pokrov, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

After a journey of more than 1,500 miles (near 2,400 km) and months of careful planning, coordination, and transport arrangements, all equipment reached its destination safely. Given the ongoing challenges faced by communities across Ukraine, particularly those close to the frontline, the successful delivery is especially meaningful.

What began as a collection of refurbished computers in the UK has now become a valuable educational resource for a school continuing to provide learning opportunities despite the difficulties of war. The devices are helping both pupils and teachers access the technology they need for education, while additional laptops will also be distributed to children from larger families.

We are pleased to report that the equipment is already in use, and the response from the school has been overwhelmingly positive. Students and teachers are very happy to have access to reliable computers, and the donation has brought not only practical support but also a message of solidarity and hope.

At Ukraine Appeal, we believe that every gesture of support matters. For communities living under the constant pressure of war, knowing that people abroad care and are willing to help makes a real difference.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Computers 4 Good, Professor Michael Mainelli, Z/Yen, and all those involved in making this donation possible. Your generosity has created a lasting impact for children and educators who continue to demonstrate resilience and determination every day.

We are grateful for this partnership and look forward to future opportunities to work together in supporting education and communities affected by the war in Ukraine.

Thank you for helping make this possible.
